Let's sew great bags! - Cutting Corners Design is a modern pattern label for bags and accessories from

and accessories from Switzerland. We attach great importance to beautiful and easy-to-understand instructions as well as extensive testing of all patterns so that no questions remain unanswered, even for beginners.

As a passionate seamstress and woman with a penchant for bags, all ideas are tested in advance for their suitability and practicability and perfected with you in test sewing.

That's me:

Mum, coach, cat lover and something over 40...My name is Sarah, a self-confessed bag sewing addict, creative globetrotter and I am behind the label Cutting Corners Design.

I bought my first sewing machine as a complete beginner as I was desperate to sew my own bag - which I still wear! After a few years of learning, sample sewing and later actively selling bags and children's clothes, I took the plunge in 2022 to develop my ideas & passion further and create my own bag cutting patterns.
▶ My aim is to design beautiful and practical bags that are a pleasure to wear all year round and are helpful in all situations.
▶ My tutorials are meant to be fun and to help beginners as well as the professional bag sewers among you to create beautiful one-of-a-kind bags quickly and efficiently.
