Why in 2018, is it so hard to get a parcel delivered successfully with zero hiccups? And I’ve been on both sides of this, working for a small online retailer I know, no matter who the courier is, there’s only a 60-70% chance that parcel is going to get where it’s going first time. No one seems to be able to nail the whole delivery thing which is astounding considering how much we rely on it now.
So, I got a bit over excited over the weekend and have already started buying a few bits like these wonderful curtains I found at IKEA. I really feel like they are going to make a HUGE impact on the room, so am very eager to get those up. I’ve also ordered some little teal accent pieces and some more greenery and I think that’s going to be it until payday this month.
I’m slowly falling in love with teal, it’s such a decadent yet modern colour and really brings life into a room. This is definitely going to be the colour I start injecting into my living room.
After living in our apartment for 2 years I am ashamed to say it’s still pretty bare. Going from living at home to suddenly being responsible for your own place is not only a huge shock to the system but also takes its toll on your bank account. Now I’m not really in a position to be able to just throw/give everything away and start with scratch so I need to try and make it work with what I’ve got.
